One-Room School House

The one-room schoolhouse has been moved to the Palo Alto County Fairgrounds in the southwest corner of Emmetsburg. An arboretum has been planted next to it. The one-room schoolhouse represents the early days of the county when most citizens attended one-room schools. It is open during the Palo Alto County Fair.
